Terms & Policies

Shipping:

Mae’s Scented Candles and/or Mae’s Ceramics & Gifts feel that the cost of shipping can be thought of as a comprise to the cost of gas and time to shop at traditional brick and mortar stores. We will charge only what USPS or UPS charges. Mae’s Scented Candles and/or Mae’s Ceramics & Gifts will never inflate shipping charges. We will ship whichever way is cheaper for you (either USPS Priority Mail or UPS Ground).

Ordering Process:

Each and every order, no matter how small or large is given highest priority. Once an order is received it will be shipped within 2 to 3 weeks. Each order is individually made when your order is placed. Orders will be shipped via USPS Priority Mail or UPS and should arrive to you within 4 to 5 business days after processing.

Order Offline:

If you choose not to pay with a credit card or would rather order offline, fill out our order form, print it, and mail it along with the appropriate payment (money order, personal or cashier's check drawn on a U.S. bank) payable to:

We respect your privacy. Mae’s Scented Candles and/or Mae’s Ceramics & Gifts will never sell or otherwise distribute your mailing and/or E-mail address, phone numbers, purchase history, or any personal information to any other company or person. The personal information you provide will be used only to help us to serve you better.  We firmly believe in safety and privacy on the Internet and will not disclose the identity of our visitors. Only with prior approval will the identity of visitors be disclosed. All customer information is regarded with the highest security. Thank you for your trust in Mae’s Ceramics & Gifts and Mae’s Scented Candles.


Return Policy:
  • Customer satisfaction is our main goal! If there is a quality issue or you have received the wrong product, please contact us within 5 days of receiving your order for a replacement or refund.

  • We cannot accept returns without prior authorization.

  • If you aren't sure you will like a fragrance, you can order it in a melt first. We don't accept returns if you don't like a particular scent.

  • A Special Note About Colors: We cannot accept returns based on candle color. Due to the hand-crafted nature of our candles, no two candles will be alike (this includes color). Please be aware that you will not receive the exact same color each time you order a specific scent.

  • Every order is always packed with utmost care, but every now and then merchandise does arrive damaged and/or broken. If this occurs with your order, please remember to keep your box and packing materials. Then inform us within 48 hours so we can make arrangements to have the merchandise shipped back and replaced.

  • Mae’s Scented Candles will NOT be responsible for damage or injury due to lack of care and/or attention when burning our candles. Please be responsible using caution and care when burning our candles adhering to warnings printed on our candles.

  • Mae’s Scented Candles and/or Mae’s Ceramics & Gifts will not be responsible for injuries, damages or loss of any kind due to use of any product purchased from us. In any case, our maximum liability to you is the amount you paid for the product. Your purchase from Mae’s Scented Candles and/or Mae’s Ceramics & Gifts indicates your acceptance of this information and our policies.
